She began her formal music training in the 8th grade, influenced by her mother, a folk singer, and her father's passion for singing. Her journey to fame commenced with her participation in the Indian Idol. Despite facing health challenges and personal losses during her initial attempts in Seasons 3 and 4, she emerged as the runner-up in Season 5. Bhoomi's Bollywood debut came with the song "Bahne Dey" in the 2012 film "Prem Mayee". She has also contributed to Gujarati cinema with tracks like "Vaagyo Re Dhol" from the National Award-winning film "Hellaro." Apart from Bollywood and Dhollywood, she has also worked on independent music projects.
